I did a 3" lift on a Range Rover, bought pro comp from Explorer, they recomended that the bump stops were given spacers to compensate for the lift and that longer brake lines were fitted.

depends on what tyres you fit, if you take advantage of the raised height to increase their size without extending the bump stops, when the suspension compresses the tyres will hit the bodywork. if you stick with no bigger than 31" tyres you could gain some up travel on the suspension but this will probably be at the expense of a loss in droop travel.
got the 4" procomp kit myself, drops whole front lower suspension, bump stops and diff 4" allowing for 33" tyres maintaining standard travel.

The front bump stops get a lot of use, you'd probably get nasty banging noises alot, try cutting them in half.

If you can afford it, I'd get ES9000 shocks.

You'll need spring to compressers to get the rear coils in easily, apart from that its easy. Watch your rear flexy brake hose when the axle is hanging free while you fitting the springs.
