Just been upgraded to 4mb broadband with an upstream of 384k ...didnt realise the forum had flashing/moving stuff on the homepage!

No, i been with Telewest/blueyonder broadband for years,even had my dial-up with them.
Its an always on,cable connected,unlimited supply.
never had any problems.

Been paying for 1mb for a while then out of the blue they email me and say " here you go,have 4mb instead for the same price".

Why do I have to pay £20 to upgrade my speed to 2 Meg?
We have to charge you £20 to get 2 Meg as we need to make improvements to your exchange. Once these have been made your next speed upgrade will be free.

just below the header on the page, there's a blue line that has flashy lighter blue bits that whizz accross

I can see the lightblue bit, but it has stopped just under the blue star.
I've got 1meg broadband. Is this too slow???
