Playing DVDs

Anyone manage to get their import navigation systems to play DVDs (films that is)

Realise the navigation system is no use but surely as we're the same DVD zone as the Japs? they should at least play a poxy film??

The one in mine is an Alpine NVE-077ZR and as far as I can make out all the bits are still there

Yep, we're both in the same DVD region but, our tv system is PAL whilst they use NTSC. So you would need either region free or region 2 NTSC DVD's.
