BTW keep an eye on the off road section. I'm doing another Salisbury run as soon as I've had my ridiculously noisy tappets seen to.

PS- Neil - I've flooded my interior too "Daddy, daddy my feet are getting wet.....". Not much you can do other than clean it out as best you can. Luckily I did mine in the summer and could leave the doors open for a few hours. Sound like you got more depth inside than I did though.....Last edited by laser_jock@work; 14 November 2005, 14:33._________________

Gav saw his photo last night and whooped at other people posting photos of him in the puddle - he sensibly didn't properly try attacking "the puddle" until he'd fitted the snorkel and the mud tyres!Debs

I took my shogie off road to a sand quarry.
I watched a few landys get stuck and went round a different way.
On the way back the car sank in quick sand to just above the bottom of the doors. So it was in by about 28" or so.
It wer well stuck!
A nice chap in his landy pulled me out, but not before I pulled his front bumper and part of his chassie off!
The moral of the day was,
take a 10 tone strap with you
make sure it is long
Make sure the bit you tie it to can stand the test
always try to break the other persons car (its cheeper!)Back in the world of Surfdom
