  • Colour Coded Rear Lights

Has anyone tried painting their rear their lights to achieve colour coding with the body???

I bought some clear rear lenses from Tony and Linda, which I'm really chuffed with (thanks guys), and I wondered if it would be possible to paint them, preferrably spray them, with a translucent (oooh that's a big word for me) paint that matches my body colour, of the car that is, which incidentally is blue, being the best colour of course goes faster looks better scientifically proven of course

Yep, I sprayed mine with glass paint from Hobycraft, using my airbrush.

Mat, my current lights are illegal anyways!

Lots of mods are, not many are DOT approved. Have a search around the small print for most suppliers, you should find 'for offroad use only' or similar disclaimer.
