Hehe, and you still managed to type all that for us, that's dedication.
As a point of interest, it takes less than 5 minutes to change the head light bulbs on a 3rd gen and you only need to remove one nut!
Oh, and a 1st gen is even quicker!

I know I am bringing this back from the dead! Sorry for that. But Rob mentions a nut on the 3rd gen to change the headlamps.

Can someone tell me more about this nut please?

Just a nut that holds on a plastic cover between the battery, back of the headlamp and coolant bottle on the passenger side Needs to be removed so you can get your hand down there (as in down there, where the bulb is).
