Have you tried talking to 'supertrux' about your dissapointment, they may exchange them for you as they're not the springs you thought you ordered, plus if you sound really dissapointed maybe they will replace them for you........worth a phone call I suppose?

To gauge the ride height, measure from the centre of the hub to the bottom of the arch, this way you can directly compare readings regardless of size of wheels or tyres fitted.

At the time I fitted +2" LA Supertrux springs three years ago I was happy with additional lift they gave as I only put 31" tyres on at the time. What I failed to take into acount was how much the old springs must have sagged. So- all the lift I 'gained' was actually more like just restoring it an inch and a bit over the factory ride height. It only became an issue to me when fitting 33" tyres recently- then I really did need those extra 2"

Lets say for the sake of argument the factory ride height should be about 13.5" rim-to-wheel arch (assuming 15" wheels).

With a 2" spring spacer and +2" springs fitted I'm now measuring 16.5" rim-to-arch at the rear- a whole inch lower than I would expect to be (but still enough clearance for 33" tyres).

Bobbydoc- as Bushwhacker say's maybe give Nigel a call- it' seems these springs "don't do what they say on tin". Mine are too old and rusty to moan about now- but yours are still blue and shiney.

Thinking about 2"lift is it worth changing the shocks at the same time or are the springs just more heavy duty

We need a bit more information on what truck you have, year or reg. engine size, manual or auto petrol diesel etc.

Milners 20% stronger springs restored my ride height + about 3/4". I haven't bothered to measure it in the 14 months since fitting the springs, although my truck is still doing a dragster impression and I really should crank up the tortion bars a bit.
                It's only a hobby!

I have spoken to a guy at procomp at length about springs, coil, leaves, poly bushes etc.
He said that realistically what ever the lift is i.e. 2" you will only get about just over half of that by the time the weight of the vehicle is on them. When I fitted 3" lifted leaves to my old pick up I measured from centre of wheel to arch before and after.
Laid the old and new spring side by side and it was 3" different, when fitted it actually measured 2 1/4" lift.
He also said that with leaves you do get more of the lift than with coils as they are a lot harder.
But as said I would give them a ring and give your concerns to them, maybe some duff springs, if you don't call you won't find out what they have to say.

Maybe I am missing it but on their web site it doesn't mention anything about amount of lift. Just says lift coils??

Edit, found it says to give approx 2" of lift

Please do not miss-undersand me! The truck has lifted about 3/4", it's just that I was dissapointed at the result as I had paid £107 including P&P, VAT, so for the amount of lift I have, was not worth the effort and money!

There's definately something wrong here- if you started at 12.5" (bordering on the saggy) and are now at 13.25" (stock height) these springs have merely restored the orginal ride height. The Toyota standard spring has 6 coils. The heavy duty spring has 7 coils and is thicker guage steel. The 'true' +2" lift coil has 8 coils. The photo attached shows a standard Toyota coil beside a +2" coil (Old Man Emu coil- not Pro Comp!).

I reckon you've been sold a Heavy Duty set.

The ones I have look the same as the ones in your photo, the old on left and the new on the right, but my new ones are green. My new springs are Australian and were manufactured by Dobinsons.
