Have you tried talking to 'supertrux' about your dissapointment, they may exchange them for you as they're not the springs you thought you ordered, plus if you sound really dissapointed maybe they will replace them for you........worth a phone call I suppose?

Lets say for the sake of argument the factory ride height should be about 13.5" rim-to-wheel arch (assuming 15" wheels).
With a 2" spring spacer and +2" springs fitted I'm now measuring 16.5" rim-to-arch at the rear- a whole inch lower than I would expect to be (but still enough clearance for 33" tyres).
Bobbydoc- as Bushwhacker say's maybe give Nigel a call- it' seems these springs "don't do what they say on tin". Mine are too old and rusty to moan about now- but yours are still blue and shiney.Last edited by laser_jock99; 16 October 2005, 10:35.

I have spoken to a guy at procomp at length about springs, coil, leaves, poly bushes etc.
He said that realistically what ever the lift is i.e. 2" you will only get about just over half of that by the time the weight of the vehicle is on them. When I fitted 3" lifted leaves to my old pick up I measured from centre of wheel to arch before and after.
Laid the old and new spring side by side and it was 3" different, when fitted it actually measured 2 1/4" lift.
He also said that with leaves you do get more of the lift than with coils as they are a lot harder.
But as said I would give them a ring and give your concerns to them, maybe some duff springs, if you don't call you won't find out what they have to say.Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

Maybe I am missing it but on their web site it doesn't mention anything about amount of lift. Just says lift coils??
Edit, found it says to give approx 2" of liftSay not always what you know, but always know what you say.

Please do not miss-undersand me! The truck has lifted about 3/4", it's just that I was dissapointed at the result as I had paid £107 including P&P, VAT, so for the amount of lift I have, was not worth the effort and money!I like Orientals

The ones I have look the same as the ones in your photo, the old on left and the new on the right, but my new ones are green. My new springs are Australian and were manufactured by Dobinsons.I like Orientals
