Please Mr Koi Sir can i come out of the sin bin for buying a Zuki....
I think I`ve got a good enough excuse for owning one as Shubert has major problems still..


The poor head has beaten even Mr Clarkson it has got a serious crumbling around the crowns of the bores, so now not only am i having to replace the head I`ve got now source a short engine as well...So i need something to play with in the meantime.


So Pleeeeeeeaaaaaase Mr Koi can i come out of the sin bin

Mark have you considered having your own block repaired ? We have a 93 2.4 Surf in our workshop which belongs to a pal of Hilux Bob. It's got the worst case of cavity erosion around the top of number 4 cylinder that i have ever seen( will try and post some photos ) we are going to Re-Sleeve the block and bring it back to standard size, this could be a more cost effective repair for you.

I am waiting on a desicion from a engine reconditioner in this area to see if the block can be reused or if its a scrapper...I have been told that he ha may have a low milage engine so you never know..

As soon as i get back from work in daylight i shall post some pics..
