Bad luck

Not only do I think the head has gone on my surf but I took the wifes car to a mechanic to day to try and sort out a problem with the heating and he says the head gasket has gone. The surf goes back to garage monday for head test under warranty?????????? just i think. But I am going to france on friday not to sure wot in yet. what are the chances of 2 cars in the same family having the head go at the same time.

Bad luck

I`ve had similar bad luck... After the courier company losing the head on route to us we finally got the head off to discover that the crowns on the bores have crumbled so now we are looking for a short block, considering a new engine in at this rate
