Just been reading through that link, and the only conclusion I can come up with is, that someone was paid to write that article to make it seem as though were better of than the rest of Europe.
I don't care about the rest of Europe, I don't live or spend money there!
Is the BBC 'owned' by the government?
This rant is far from over!

and they had the temerity to get john humphies a telling off for being biased against the government yesterday!!!!!! all he said was gordon brown is boring and you cant believe politicians... not exactly a revelation...it's in me shed, mate.

The basic problem in the UK IS the amount of duty on fuel, everyone in the world is suffering due to high oil prices, but because of our insane tax on fuel, its becoming unmanagable.
Whats the chances of the governmant saying, "look guys, we're making a bundle on the tax beacuse of high fuel prices, therefore we can reduce the duty on it to keep prices within reason for you....................."4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...
