HGV / LGV Driving

I've been down the driving agency this week to see what the score is.
Class 3 driving , no nights out £7.50 p/h
Class 1 driving for Tesco £9.00 p/h (nearest tecso depot is in Southampton)

Overtime at time and a half after 8 hours, time and a half on Saturdays and double on Sundays.

Not too bad but you have to put the hours in to get the money.

Just waiting on a job I've applied for at the Masonic hospital in bournemouth as head of maintenance, 39hrs a week £23,000 a year !! I'm having some of that if it comes up. I'll have to work on the funny handshake too

Well at least you know your subs will be going to a good cause.

I have done a lot of work for the Masons in the past including work at the hospital so they already know me. So maybe I stand a good chance, my old boss used to be the head honcho at the Bournemouth lodge too.
