Thought I would tackle the dented 1/4 panel that the to$$er at Lincs show did .I used to be a semi skilled panel beater , so thats why I am now a Insurance Assessor/Engineer .
If your interested read on , if not .....
    Goodbye .

If you read this bit and further posts you are interested . First I removed the inner trim to gain access to dent . After pushing/hammering out dent with use of a 'dolly' , I used an air powered DA sander to remove the paint around the dent .

As the panel was 'stretched' it was not possible to knock the dent out fully and had to fill. When the panel looked right a coat of black paint is sprayed on and then sanded off . Any low spots and pin holes are seen as they appear black .

I have bought some aerosol paint the correct paint number as on chassis plate . Only one general manufacturer now makes it . I have test sprayed it and it looks to dark . The Runner has been fully repainted before so a match to colour is going to be difficult . May have to colour chit (correct spelling) if too far off and pay some one to mix and spray for me . I usually like to do all my work myself , so if its no good I can only refuse to pay myself . .
