3rd gen brake pad change

I have just changed my brake pads and the brake pedal now feels a bit soft is this normal or should i be worried.?

I have topped up the brake fluid and pumped the brake pedal a few times.

have you taken it for a drive yet? You should find that the pedal will become hard again after the first couple of dabs on the brakes, every thing just needs to settle down.

also because the new pad is flat and the old disk isn't it will ake a few miles to bed in properly
