I live in sunny Lincoln (don't quite know what i did to deserve that....) am up and down the A15 every day, and off up the M180 to Beverly regularly, see loads of surfs and always wave but no one waves back Im in the nice shiny blue L plate so if anyone sees me ill be the nutter waving at you!!!
Are any of you lot from the West Country?
Just come back from the South Hams, and have seen loads down there.
Not waving yet, as still in the Golf - waiting with bated breath and chewed fingernails for the Surf to arrive.
Bikers waving? Not always - a lot of plastic rocket jockeys won't wave except to another similarly-clad Power Ranger. Most GS-riders, tend to wave - probably on the lines of "hello, another loony..."
And nobody waves to young spotties with their feet on the rear pegs of their twist'n'go mopeds, or any rider of a pizza delivery vehicle.
JackRabbit I haven't spotted you yet I live near Immingham and work and live during the week at Digby between Lincoln and Sleaford hopefully see you around.
Mines the green J plate narrow body with the spots in the bumper F150 style and tints all round

Havent got a wave yet in and around portsmouth, Very reserved lot (or just
a miserable bunch), How about an LED flashing sign on the front? Any ideas
as to what it should read??????.
I always give a lift of my fingers off the steering wheel. Get a few waves etc. If I wave or on occasion hang out the window and whoop I don't usually get a response. Odd that.
I also try to wave or flash at passing Surfs, come accross a couple on the daily comute to Blandford via Salisbury (just in case any of you are from that way.
Mines the Blue (fastest) 3rd gen.
Off to Portsmouth / Fareham area next week so watch out
I always flash (no clever quips!) when I see a fellow surf. Trouble is, with all my spots, I think I blind them rather than say hello.
He he................
Keep the tradition going, I always feel surfers share at least one thing in common, TASTE!
