  • can't find the spark plugs!

Anyway, now you are reading this, does this make any sense....
Pulling off, plenty of revs but not much go.
If I push the gofaster peddle, it drops a gear and revs but doesnt want to overtake the big nasty lorry.
    Is this linked to,
    A) the fuel injectors being toast
    or
    B) An acute phobia of larger vehicals on the part of my surf?

It seems to be getting worse over the past few weeks.
Was ok when Stevo did the head, had a blocked injector just after but cleared with the aid of some fairy liquid sustitute from Motorsave.

Its a red over grey '92 2.4TD without a sunroof.
And before anyone says anything, no my tyres do not stick out the side!
Well, not any more than normal.

Maybe that is the key, I will have to get it over to TonyN for a mod!

Have you checked your A/T fluid level?
Or maybe there is a problem with the torque converter.

that has to be done when the injin is warm and running doesn't it?
Did read somewhere on here about it, but I checked when it was asleep.
As for the torque converter, I have enough problems trying to figure out how many pints to the gallon and so forth, so is this a garage job?

Better to ask TonyN first, I think garages will probably rub their chins and puff their cheeks out a bit, think of a number then add two or three zeros.
Get some idea from Tony, then if you have to go to garage, you can tell them what you want fixed.
