err.. touchy subject, he left here with a rebuilt vacuum pump, plenty of vacuum now, but still rubbish brakes cos the rears are so far out of adjustment, then he came back 10mins later due to a odd whirring noise that we thgought may have been the pump not right, but we couldn't find anything wrong with once he got back.
So he left again and then I got a phone call saying the noise was back, but it was the turbo bearings, and he's limping home preying the turbo doesn't explode and get sucked into the motor!!!

But, it does do great burnouts!!!!

Now i'm off with the remains of my turbo to McD's to give the saxo boys sommit to think about!

Tell you what, makes interesting noises with no turbo bearings. Every now and again the turbo kicks in and I get a rush of power then nothing. 55mph on the M3 home. But still managed to tow some numpty in an astra off the forecourt of Winchester services!

Its also dumped most of the contents of the sump down the inlet just to annoy anyone too close behind. Loads of lovely blue smoke!

Oh well, just goes to show you! DONT RAG IT IN THE MUD TOO MUCH!!!!

At least it kept cool on the way home!
