  • Reflectors for SVA.

SVA is Monday. Anyone suggest the type of reflectors that need to be fitted for SVA. It's a 1996 3.0ltr. Preference is ones I can pick up easily (H'fords or suchlike) or if anyone reading supplies and can mail today I am happy to make contact and buy from you.

Can they just be 'stick on' or do they need to be permanently atatched

    regards

A reflector is a reflector as long as it is red on the rear it doesnt matter if it is stuck on or screwed i added four HGV reflectors to the tow bracket of mine and boy do they stand out in the lights

So as long as they are stuck onthe back there is no size and positioning standards? Some one said they failed SVA because the reflectors had sharp edges hence my question re specific requirements

        Hi Fergus,

I got 2 rectangular ones (estimate 5x3cm) and stuck them on the rear bumper with body mount type tape. I positioned then maybe 25cm from the outside edge.

I thought they had to have a EU marking? Also they should say which way the top is (like fog light) and obviously that is a clue to which way they go up
