The amazing Surf just does again

Hi all just a line to say Yes I got back to the UK without any problems after my over heating on the way down. If fact she came back running like a well oiled sowing machine with the speed needle at times touching 3 figures and still under 3000 rpm. Did check the water this morning while cold and had to put about a pint in but all the way back from the middle of France the temp needle never moved from normal and I had the air con on as the outside temp was 32 c.

Relieved that as the engine is so sweet in can not be the head gasket and will burp the system a few more times to ensure not air locked. Have ordered new rad cap and thermostat as a belt and braces approach
