Yeah, dual cases are common in the states where people do a lot of rock crawling, you need to gear right down to climb up the rocks without any clutch abuse. Running L4 into another T/case also in L4 gives you really deep gearing.

Marlin made his fortune doing kits for this, lots of other do now.

Not really needed here, as witnessed at the pit, muddy hills need momentum, on the rev limiter at 10mph won't work. You get a cool extra gear lever though.
