just finished my suspension lift (thank god ) just a little question how do i adjust torsion bars? as front does not seem to have gone up do i need to jack up truck again? or do i just unscrew bolt?
If you changed the bolts it is possible to just tighten them, but it would be easier with the front jacked as that releases the pressure from the Torsion bars. Remember that the suspension settles after moving, so once you've adjusted them after driving 100 yards they'll need adjusting again (unless your really lucky).
Did you change the bars with uprated ones?

24mm socket i think, tighten to go up. Loosen to go down. Youll see the bolt heads roughly inline with your transfer case.
I seem to recall reading somewhere (Openback's post #7 here http://www.yotasurf.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=14229 )that its essential to adjust the torsion bars with the front wheels OFF the road - i.e. no load. People have had the vehicle collapse on them as the torsion bar broke when trying to do this without properly jacking/supporting.
I am thinking of tackling a lift the same as yours it looks great
can you give any info such as
best order to do the job in
any snags probs and tips to deal with them
all and any advice appreciated
cheers
