Was good, Floyd really ruled, enjoyed the most of the acts.
Floyd, The Who, Robbie Williams and Madonna are stand outs, but we only got home and watched from Maria Carey on, and due to Jap spec radio couldn't listen on the way home.

its bl@@dy great to see the who and floyd back on stage, but its even better to have a day when everyone is thinking about where we are in the world, what we can do for people in forn parts, rather than who's going to try and blow us up, or who we can blow up.
if g8 dont do this, dont vote for emit's in me shed, mate.

In the 24 hours the old boy had to wait, approximately 28,800 black children have died needlessly in Africa but hey they are black - who cares.

just been watching it AGAIN on vid and robbie was brilliant, pink floyd were brilliant, cofi annan was a loss, madonna was brilliant, U2 I missed, UB40 made brilliant use of their slot and were brilliant, little britain were sad, scissors sisters and anyone else who played new stuff were pathetic, annie lennox was brilliant, and the fella elton john brought on to sing 'children of the revolution' was wasted.

Floyd - the best of the day no doubt about it in my mind - to see youngsters who were not even born singing along to the music just shows that Floyd music spans all ages and will never fade.
I'm praying to the gods for a reunion tour.Dave

Floyd Ruled. Emotional. I'm on a couple of other (not-auto) forums, and Floyd are all anyone's talking about. I heard on the radio this morning that sales of their "best of" CD have increased over 1100% - yes, one thousand, one hundred percent!
The Who were also special.
