  • Finally gave in to the urges

Yes I gave in to my narcissistic urges, and bought and fitted some glamour items.

Roughtax clear front indicators and side indicators.
    www.Speeding.co.uk chrome bulbs for both.
Images below to show with original orange bulbs supplied and with the chrome ones.

Then I suffered a guilt trip and decided to do some 'real' work that had been nagging for some considerable time.

For those that might not recognise it.. its cargo tracking from the aircraft industry, some 4x4 specialists are trying to sell this for about £70 to £80 a metre with just two clips... take it from me, they ought to hang their heads in shame. Worse than the Customs and Excise... The track was a little over £20 for 3.5 metres, and £1.95 per clip... I think the 't' nuts and allen countersunk bolts cost more... Still each clip has a breaking strain of about 2.5 metric tonnes...

Oh, and an Engel anniversary edition fridge/freezer that has been rolling around the back end for some considerable time.... now no longer...

Then I went the whole hog and even fitted some new windscreen wipers...

Roughtrax are supplying genuine Toyota parts... these days...
Apparently even with a Japanese EPC the local stealer doesn't know what this part number is...?

I promise I won't show anyone the neons, or the sound system that can talk to whales.

I had my little helper... she is getting to know her way round my tool kit... and workshop...

Have to be sooo careful... I make up a tool roll now with the tools I need in sequence, she takes one out passes it over, then puts the previous one away.. (clean spanners and sockets anyway... ) dirty ones get tucked away in my back pocket, and she feels that she is helping.
