How low can you go ?

I was wondering what was the lowest price anybody had heard of for a surf . Elvz told me they can be hard to sell where she is ,up here they sell straight away & more are turning up all the time.
I was talking to a surf owner a couple of weeks ago who told me he had bought his for £2000 at a boot sale.
It looked like a very tidy 2nd gen but he told me he had no a/c & the only leccy window was the rear. He also said it had a 2.8 non turbo engine & this was original ?????

There was a 94 4runner in the local (Luton on Sunday) for £3000 last week. A 3.0L manual I think. Unfortunately the paper has gone (incontinent doggy trouble).

Lowest I've seen was a £1410 'provisional sale' for a 1990 SSR Ltd at BCA Enfield last August.

Ebay

Saw an H reg, 150,000 mile one go on Ebay for £1400 a couple of months ago. Owner admitted it was no show winner but it looked tidy and everything worked.
