Haha. Good point Matt.

I think I've sussed this out for myself. The auxillary battery will connect to the main battery with a fused 10ga wire and a relay, but the relay will just go to a switch in my cab. This way I can switch on to charge the aux battery when it seems appropriate - like driving on the hwy.
