  • Buyer Beware

Man who lives nearby got himself a real bargain, a £2,000 (€3,000) '94 auto 3ltr with only 75,000 miles on the clock. Spotless inside. I was bigtime envious.

    Only.......
    4 new 31" tyres needed €600
Although balanced, bad shake at 60mph
New set of alloy wheel nuts needed to match the alloys €80
2 new endcaps from Milners €300
    Towbar €350
    Wheel bearings need doing
Strange knock from standing to motion
Front pads squealing on discs, discs need turning as badly pitted/scored
    Rear shoes undoubtedly need renewing
Possibilty of many bushings under front end needing renewing

........although when all thats done, he'll have a great rig!!!!

Dont rush, bad cars need a lot of money spent.

Still sounds like a good buy to me though. I've seen them inworse state than that when they come in to the docks at Southampton but the traders sort them and make a massive profit when selling on,

    Cheers, Nick
