Indeed.... I tried my luck with a Subaru Impreza WRXYZABC (or whatever the Grant Mitchell lookalikes call them) at some lights on my first day.... I think i surprised him for a few seconds, but not surprisingly he had me in the end

That 3.0TD is a big mother of an engine

Anyone have any 0.60 times or suggested MPG figures???

          Cheers
          Dan

How do you get 30-35 MPG? Mine is a 93' 3.0L SSRX Ltd and I can only get between 19 and 22 MPG...What am I doing wrong?

I don't drive with a heavy right foot, overdrive is on and ECT is off......maybe I have a leak somewhere?

But who really cares about MPG - I have never smiled so much when driving a car and my wife loves it aswell.

Its surprizing how many people in their cars are startled by how fast the surf can get away and how it can keep on accellerating (I think thats how you spell it).Its when you are still accellerating @ 90 that their jaw drops.
I always work better wet .

I encountered rumor that it is poss to chip the early 3.0 to approx 200bhp and near 400fpt, can anyone confirm or deny?
Where do I get one, now now now, cos Novas are no challenge any more, I want the 3 series BMWs Audi A4s etc
Ok nicely done, when we dry off we can go find the boat!

I'd be surprised if you could make 200bhp on just chipping - an extra 25-30 bhpwould be closer to the norm - anything over that would need some serious mods I suspect.

A while ago I made some general enquiries about chipping my 3.0 intercooler but I got negative responses - I suspect that the chipping guys aren't quite as knowledgeable as they claim !

Life is too important to take seriously !
