Well i suppose it had to happen...my surf broke but,thanks to you guys i was able to diagnose the problem and get it sorted in double quick time.My clutch pedal started sticking down so after a quick search discovered it was the master cylinder so ordered one up from my local parts place .It arrived the next day and got it fitted (by the garage that had already changed my timing belt and just happens to be right next door to the parts place)the very next day.Changing gear is now a dream but shows just how bad my clutch has been,probably since i bought it!So thanks to everyone on the forum for the great advice.For anyone in west lothian i can highly recommend "livingston auto parts" and "the knightsridge garage".
