Need Help Choosing

Hi all,

A potential newbie to the HiLuxSurf scene, I'm in a bit of a quandry.

The wife has decided that she wants a bigger 4x4 and currently owns a swb Rav4 but needs more space. We've been out today to look at some at Meonvalley cars but have found it difficult to find somewhere that lists them in their price guides so as to see what they are really worth. Also the pro's & cons of owning one.. The other 2 options dare I say it is between a Freelander & a Forester. Any Info galdly recieved

nowt wrong with a forester - I have one of those, its great handling on-road and easy off road and in snow and has a low-range option for towing and steeps, but its no where near as low as the surf/4runner lowbox, but the 4runner is much better offroad.
reelanders get a lot of bad press for being unreliable, although people still buy them in droves because the badge.
If you get a forester get the 2.5 XT, very very fast, 0-60 in 6-7 secs

so get a surf and a forester! then have the best of both worlds
