  • Collect my 1st Surf tonite ***PICS***

    Hi all,

I own a ford Escort RS Cosworth but wanted a big 4x4 for an everyday car and really liked the look of the surfs so I've just purchased one and collect it tonite.

Its a 1994 L plate in wine red over silver grey, 3.0 TD Manual gearbox with A bars alloys etc etc, with 120k miles but it is mint and I've paid just £3500 for it which I thought was very good as I've been looking out for one for a while.

What things should I look out for with regards to keeping things tip top??

Any good places for parts etc etc

          .........with 120k miles.

Is that really miles or do you mean kilometers??

          Cheers, Nick

Shiny clean motors (Shakes head, walking away mumbling to admire the MUD on Hippo)

Shame about the paintwork guys - it should be MUDDY

Well I did get it a bit muddy today, traffic was gridlocked tonite,(people just don't know how to use roundabouts ) so I took a short cut across the top of the mountain near my house, big muddy puddles.
The road is classed as a 'C' road, but it's more like a 'D'
Umm before you ask, no I have'nt got any pics 'cos it's been raining and washed most of it off.

Been there, done that and had the car cleaned

There is nothing like playing in the mud for the rain to ruin on the way home

That sounds like a fun drive home though - I got the M25 in drizzle
