inserting photos/signature

Hi

I've noticed that when you guys post messages, some of you have pictures at the bottom of your signatures, I've just bought a 1996 surf and I'd like to add the picture of my car at the bottom of my posts.

Please can somebody explain how to do this.

Do i have to manually insert my picture each time I post a reply, or is it possible to have a picture inserted like a signature so that it shows up automatically each time I submit a reply/thread??

Hi Sajjap,
As you can see i had one on the bottom of my posts, and it comes up automatically. I uploaded my pic through user control panel up at the top of the screen.

Sorry to be a pain, I went into the control panel and clicked edit signature, then i clicked on the small insert image button, i then got a message saying something about insert img text to edit??? Can someone explain to me how to insert the picture in stupid man terms plleeassee.

You need a host for your picture - I use http://photobucket.com/

Upload your picture to the site then use the link they provide ie [IMG] and then cut & paste that link into your signature

Great Robb , Been looking for something like that since I joined this Forum to do just that . I gave up trying to work out how people posted a picture in the signiture part .As I do not have a website I thought it could not be done . I will give that a go next week and see how it works .

Okay, can I have some help please. I've registered to this site, uploaded my photos and put the IMG code into the signature block under User CP - but the photo's MASSIVE How on earth do I make it smaller? (I've tried uploading a smaller jpg file but that didn't make any difference!)

Click 'edit' on your post and request deletion... but I believe there is a time limit on deletion after posting
