Hmmm ! Well lookin forward to this should be a great larf, but one word in seriousness please If I may.

I am now secretary of Ainsdale on Sea Kitesurfing Club , we are working with the council to control the use of kites on the beach and preserve access to beachusers, I beleive they are clamping down on cars doing doghnuts in the sand .... lairy behaviour and poor driving practices that seem to make their way onto ainsdale as soon as the sun comes out and someone says its June ! So far as i understand, if anyone drives dangerously they just call the police in no questions.

I'm sure you guys are not the types to get caught up in such activities but I just had to say it.

      PARTY ON DUDES!

      Ron.

What are the local council like for pets on the beach!!.

Lets say...two big dogs in the shape of horses!
The nieces have always said about possibly getting the horses on at Ainsdale
                          Gaz

This tells you. I think the bit we're headed to is in the dogs OK bit. However the 'No Off Road Vehicles' bit I'm not sure about. I think they're just talking about the dunes.

Hi Gizmo - Its an no no as galloping horses and the public dont exactly mix too well if its busy - having said that We regularly see the local southport horse people on the beach gallping them chestnuts up and down to the dimay of the rangers - take your chances....but dont be surprised if they dont allow you on.

the entrance is manned and there is only the entrance that you can access the beach with - phone the rangers at the Ainsdale discovery center...might be the best plan.

                              Regds.

                              Ron.
