This is an absolute shot in the dark, but are there any lawyers on this forum who could possibly give me a quick answer to a question regarding a will, a caveat over property, and the Section 57 Families Act?

Its not actually my problem at all, but someone very close to me has had their life turned upside down by someone apparently using the law to spite them, and I am trying to get a straight answer to a question so that they can move on.
