  • chassis-body mounts/bushes question

still on the trail to figure out cause of 4runner shimmy on rough roads i.e. most roads!,

I put a pry bar between body and chassis in front wheel arch, by front body/chassis mount and could pry the body of the truck up 3-5mm
in back wheel arch, in could only pry the body up about 1-2mm

    is this normal ?
    should there be any movement?
has anyone tried this on their trucks?

was wondering if the mounts need tightening or bushes knackered or soemthing
bear in mind it passed MOT other week

    cheers

Wouldn't hurt to try and see if the body mount bolts will tighten up a little. Get a big breaker bar on each end and see what happens.
