Current 3rd Gen 3.0 auto, purchased about 2 years ago, approx 40K kms since purchase, broken positive terminal on o/s battery. Low fuel light becoming intermittent of late (ran out once because of the damn thing too!).
Previous 2nd Gen 2.4 Manual, owned for approx 2 years, approx 40K kms since purchase, broken positive terminal on o/s battery.
Ooh eerily similarMaurice

had the surf nearly a year now and the only thing i broke was my fingernail, opening the door the other day. although i came back form a good day out on me bike 2day and some toe rags had been through all my boxes and stiff in the shed, but can't seem to see anything missing. i'm hopeing they ain't gonna come back while i'm in work, i'm more worried about them breaking in and pinching me pooch.... i've even got a security camera and they were so sly to avoid it, they came in over the fence from next door's property which is empty, so i couldn't see them on the video didn't no if i should ring the police like i said can't see anything missing, but i feel uneasy.lets go get dirty...

me, anything that broke I probably caused it, apart from the cable under the passenger seat for rear seat passengers - the one in a 2 door which causes the front seat to fly forward to let passengers get out from the back seat, oh and lots of plastic these and thoses

always something that needs doing...
ciggy lighter dont work and I want to add another 2, rear spot stopped working - hoping its a loose cable/bulb.
Might take the steps off for the meet - I reckon it might look quite good on my wheels
oh and I have a CV boot split - should I repair before Salisbury?Tim

3rd gen: failed MOT 3 weeks ago on rear wheel bearing, which i was expecting as I did the other side last November. It's nearly 10 years old with 165,000km on it. Most of the things that have broke have been my fault though!
1st gen: Dunno - somethings not right with the engine, Tony's looking at it. This one is over 20 years old and has 265,000km on it. Still goes though! I haven't broke much yet cos i've not had it long enough.
