Looking into making a bracket for front of chassis rails (removing the A bar) so I can fit a winch to the 3rd Gen.
I get the general idea of reciever winches and like the idea of not having to have it fitted all the time plus it will only need a small section cutting out of the bottom of the bumper, also the option to fit to rear if needed is a big bonus.
What I really need to know is general specs for mounting ie size/strenght of box section needed. I dont have a problem with any welding needed.
Will connections like the hitch bolts on hitch towbars do the job?
