I know there is a few bikers on this site, so any of you see the 1st round of the moto gp?? One of the best races ive ever seen, formula 1 could only wish for something this exciting.

LMAO not got a bike now qube for various reasons but i didnt see the start cos we got a fire call and got back litterally for the last lap, wow racing at its best, went to donnington about 4 years ago, when Vale was 15th on the grid and won in stlye, managed to get on the track and he flew past me about 10ft away near the craner curves at about 100mph on one wheel some fooking rider that guy is, as the 3 letters say on his leather tag on his leathers WLF apparently stands for pussy for ever but its waht i had been told so could be a crock of poo, still one of the greatest bike riders i have ever seen..

Rossi is the greatest ever, no question. I cant stop watching that walk upto the podium, rossi's face is superb, as if to say ' what a poof'.

yeah, great race indeed.
the best i've seen was probably the 1990 australian gp. gardener, lawson, schawntz, rainey and a few others almost side by side the whole race......
yep, there's sure been some good ones over the years....

i beg to differ... the best bike race in the world was the walter mittys bike club race from the pub in north cerney to the pub in south cerney. 5 or 6 miles of windy a roads, a bypasscouple of roundabouts and some bumpy b raods. sunny sunday, every bike known to man from harleys to gags to race reps. you know why its the best one? i won it! gpz900 aye thank you...

Committment

I've followed bike racing since the 60s, old git that I am, but this guy has got to be the best there ever has been. I've watched them all, Duke, Hailwood, Agostini, Shene & Fogarty. There's been plenty of fast riders, (Gardner) plenty of smart riders, (Lawson) and plenty of characters (Swantz), but nobody else has had all three attributes -especially as a teenage world champion.
For those of you unfamiliar with the word committment, the videos show what the word means in real terms. For live evidence, forget the over-priced posers at Silverstone, you can see these guys live at Donnington on July 24th for £37, includes two other world championship races at the same time!

i beg to differ... when ingrid ran the cricketers near me, we had a bike race called "tour de tadley"... basically, we put on yellow tshirts, got on pushbikes and visited every pub in baughurst/tadley... never won it, but dave got run over once!... v drunk by the end of it!... shouldn't really do it on bikes!... and shouldn't take the p out of MOD coppers to let us in atomic weapons establishment bar!
