  • Pop's The Plonker

    Hi Gang,

Just thought you would all like to know that POP's has found a possible cure to the problem of his motor overheating!

There he is one of the MAJOR CONTRIBUTORS to the forum but does he do the research???????

He has found that his RADIATOR is FULL of that wonderfull brown stuff we all love to play in MUD

So I am sure you would all like to wish him well at NOT having to purchase a new HEAD but I also think that you will have a great deal to say about him NOT checking the radiator!! After getting it Dirty

So I would like to use the immortal words as is so often used by our ggod friend:-

    POP's YOUR A KNOB!
    Pops is a Knob

I am pleased for you Martin

    Paul
DUNNO'S BACK ..........He never really went away!

before you call me a knob get your facts straight.
after every off road trip i flush my rad.
and it was sand and git actually from the roads which i flushed out today.
so stop chatting up my missus and getting wrong end of the stick and ending up looking like a knob yourself.

right that aside the sand and grit i removed still does not convince me that was the problem.
the engine has not overheated since last friday week now and i blasted the surf up to gatwick airport and back this morning and the temp gauge never strayed from the normal even in traffic jam at gatwick end of M23.
even with the sand and grit in the rad,

now i do have a problem guys the rear window wont come down now and the back is full of shopping
BEFORE ANYONE calls me a "KNOB" again no the the window button on drivers door is not on

            Pops,

            Your no knob m8

Reference Rear window problem, maybe the pressure washer has moved the sand & grit into the rear window thingy's & is stopping it working.

So what you'll need to do is get the local expert on to the problem, i'm sure she'll get the window open for you.

              Pops,

Is the rear tailgate unlocked ? it could be that the button on the tailgate will disable the window if "up"

Well in that case the obvious suspects are the motor or the relay - fingers crossed it's a relay.
