What Do I Look For When Buying a Surf

Hello

I am looking at buying a Hilux Surf. I have read posts everywere, and the opinion seems to be that the 2.4td has problems with the head. So the 3.0 is the one to go for.
Is the 2.4 td that bad, there is still alot of them about.

What should I be looking for when going to view either one of these cars.

This would be my first 4wd vehicle, and would be used by me on a daily basis.

Any Help very Much appreciated.

Not all 2.4's have head problems, unfortunatly you only ever get to hear about the ones that do have problems. 80% are fine.

use the search function at the top of the page, you will find loads of usefull information.
