The sites are to a good standard and are well run. You know you will get a pitch with a certain amount of room and not be crammed in as on many private sites. Tariffs are standard depending on the facilities offered and you know in advance how much a site will cost you. As a member you can book in advance.
Also as a member you enjoy reduced rates. Generally if you join you will possibly save the membership costs in the first 6 visits. There is a huge number of sites and site types to choose from.
There is a monthly magazine often with lots of offers etc and a handbook listing all sites and directions on how to get there.
Finally and for me the most important there will be no rowdy drunks/loud music untill 3 in the morning etc.
