Just Had A Call From The Wife

Her who must be obeyed, drove the Surf on her own for the first time today. She was a little late for her hair appointment and at the first roundabout gave it some welly. Her comment on the phone was "Blod** Hell, don't that thing go!!" this was after several opposite lock corrections. In our younger days she was always known as "Right Foot Rita" and often burnt rubber from the lights - much to the delight of our two sons.
I do hope today does not result in a relapse to those bad habits, it is not becoming of a young at heart 50 something lady.

I just looked at my passenger rear tyre and have now nick named it roundabout rear!
Its almost twice as worn as the other one, and I can only attribute this to having too much fun with the back end on a few local roundabouts!!
Heh, who says you cant have fun on the roads in a surf
