Hi,
I have just finished fitting replacement leather seat covers that I got from Streetluge Chris (thanks Chris, they're great). But, if you are thinking of doing this, be warned....the old covers are a pain in the butt to take off.
They have round wire clips that are really fiddly to undo and sharp bits on the metal frame. The new covers have to be secured by the clips so you have to be careful how you take them off. And don't ask me about the door panels!
It took me the best part of 3 afternoons to finish it but they look fabulous.
If anybody is interested, PB Leathers in the USA offered to make a pattern for a 3rd gen if I sent them my old seat covers and they were a reasonable price, even with the duty on them. The guy in charge is a Geordie.
