  • Gen 2 Surf Dimensions

    Right then, quick question.

Anyone got the length and width dimensions for a Gen 2 Surf, specifically a 1992 model. I'm in the process of buying one, and was just wondering if it'll fit on my drive!!!!!!!!

    Cheers
    It just does, OK?

Can't tell you exactly but, with care, I park mine in a bog standard local authority lock-up garage that was built when the working classes owned (if they were very lucky) A Morris Minor. I have to reverse in or the garage door won't shut. I'm 5'6" , nearly 15 St and have room to get out. (OK I have a bit of old carpet stuck on the wall on the drivers side................just in case i bash the door).

OK I forgot. There is a Surf Specification for the 2nd Gen. I think it's on this website (not the forum bit).
    It's only a hobby!

The attachment should have all the info you need.
(Sorry for the poor quality but I had to reduce it in order to post to the forum)

Have just raed that spec sheet, shouldn't the 0-100 km/h time read more like 18.8 secs rather than 8.8???????!!!!!

And is it correct that the 3L takes the same time with so much extra power??

It also appears to suggest the same body/model ran from 1985-1995!!
