Weird thing is the file name for the pic is always right - sometimes the pic I SEE is a pic stored on my PC, sometimes it's a pic I've never seen before. Weird one!! Also only happen on the forum (esp when attaching pics to a thread) never on my mail

mmmm - curious that. It's obviuosly a link somewhere that's stored itself wrongly on some pc's. at least you can still see the proper pics when you enlarge them

Well, I've never experienced the "different preview" feature! Previews of mine look ok to me on at least a couple of different machines Mac & PC.

Maybe it's just a temporary fault in the Matrix.

Dunno... I put down Whitton - behind Twickenham Stadium 'cos nobody knows where Whitton is otherwise!

Not sure about the chippy though, only just moved there and spent more time away from the flat than in it!

I think the problem of the thumbnails not showing was because I moved the pictures out of the database and on to the file system saving space on the database. I then rebuilt the thumbnails, but it can't have worked.

I rebuilt everything yesterday when I added the stars for subscribers and it seems it worked then

Andy - will it only work properly for new posts from now on, or shd it have fixed posts already on the site too? If the latter then it hasn't worked as the thumbnails are still showing differently from the actual picture when you click on it.

Try a hard refresh on the page (ctrl F5). They show correct on mine so I think you must have an old version of the page in your cache. If not you may need to go to Tools/Internet Options and clear all files then try again.
