Fitted new springs on the surf today, I have never attempted anything like this before but after doing a couple of searches i felt confident in having a go.
It took me 4-5 hours and the old girl looks great, so thanks to everyone who posted info on springs.

We are a great little community on here and should pat ourselves on the back. Glad the job went well for you. It's a nice feeling when you can stand back and say, "I fixed that."

Nice going! I am going to attempt this myself at some point when funds and time allow so will be looking for advice myself
