damn it - the things I have to do to get my picture changed - I've tried putting a cheque into the slot on the side of my monitor - but it don't work! is this paypal thing the only way - and who is this pal who wants my pay?

The money is going towards keeping this place running, no one is making a profit from it! Have you looked to see how much this forum cost to buy in the first place (which Andy paid for), then the webspace has to be bought, Nigel brough the whole website from Wayne for £200 and the address needs renewing every year. Everytime the server gets full it costs more for more storage space.

Attatchments take up a hell of a lot of room, personally speaking I reckon the attatchment option needs to be disabled for non-contributing members (like most other BB's), but Koi said no.
Remember 1 trip to the main dealer will cost you a minimum of £50 for a hours labour, plus all the other stuff they will sting you for. How many people can say they havn't got 1 THING sorted out from advise from this place, or a link we've posted to somewhere else.

Everyone's been posting insurance Co's for you the last few days, how much is find a place to insure you Surf again worth? A damn site more than a lifetimes membership if you ask me.

No one HAS to pay anything, and no one is gonna made to fell bad if they don't, but at the end of the day someone gotta pay for it and all we're asking for is for a bit help for something we all enjoy and use everyday.

I am currently looking for alternative ways to pay so please bear with me.

As donations are recieved I will update your profiles accordingly, I will PM you as I do it.

Its a time consuming job, I spent five and a half hours last night resetting each of the 356 members to default setting. Now i need to alter each member as they pay.

And as for where does your money go its a donation to keep this place self sufficient, whilst i don't mind spending the time I put in to this place my pockets aren't bottomless. I am sure most on here has saved a few quid from the help and advice given by others, rather than pop to the dealers to be ripped off at £35+ per hour labour charges eg. steering stops bit of grease job done. At the dealer new stops etc etc + labour that'll be £200 thanks.
