I don't know if we'd want to go through all this again!!
And we haven't even got there yet.
Most of the stickers are done now. Have a look, see what you think.
Thanks to all sponsors, your support has been overwhelming, much better than we had imagined. Having a bit of trouble getting pictures on, if they don't upload I'll try again tomorrow.

It's on the bonnet, passenger side near the window, you can make it out on this one.
Also got the sticker on the back, but haven't got a picture yet. I got the long sticker from Rusty, but the only places it would fit had already been claimed by other sponsors.

Me and Rick have spent the weekend servicing the Surf and fitting the snorkel, spotlights and a map light to help Rick see where we are supposed to be going.I must say what a difference the snorkel makes to the engine, Seems to run a lot smoother and quicker.

                      Jotto,

nice to see you got those spots on the bumper too...

No trouble with the internal brace...?
I have been trying to get to a photo copier to do those instructions... but I guess you worked them out.

Looking good. Don't forget the red lens for the map light, and for the internal lights... don't want you guys killing your eyes checking your position and then running into something.

The snornkel has a rubber/foam gasket that goes between the wing and the actual snorkel so we held that in place with masking tape and marked the 4 mounting holes and the air feed tube . It aligns well with the aeriel also as there is a cut out to go round the aeriel . Worst bit for Jon is having to decide to cut and drill the wing of his car . The inner wing Jon did before I got there on the Sunday morning so I am not sure how hard it was to do , but there is a brace on the inner wing to cut through aswell . Jon has a drill/die mounted cutting bit (I forget it tech name) that grinds through metal very easy . I had also got my monodex and nibblex cutters to use but we did not need them .
The spots mounted on the bumper in front of the grille where there are 2 blanked off bits in the grille so no loss of air flow .100 watt bulbs in each with relay and seperate switching . The spots also run side light feeds so used as running lights when side lights on .

                        Rick
