  • will 1994 springs and shocks fit in 1991 ln130?

i have an oppourtunity to buy some springs and shocks out of a 1994 surf, not sure what engine, and was wondering if they would fit straight into my 91 ln 130.The reason i ask is the preice of the susspension is very cheap and all seems to be in reasonable order. I just need to fix my saggy arse
any help would be great thanks, grant

Yep, they should all fit fine.
To be sure the springs will cure your saggy arse, it would be helpfull if you could see them while still installed in the '94 vehicle. This would also help you ascertain the condition of the dampers, as this cannot be properly determined by hand off the vehicle.
Personally I don't reccomend fitting secondhand dampers, new ones are not terribly expensive and they have a tremendous impact not only on handling, but also braking distances. From a safety viewpoint I would only fit new dampers.
    Used springs are usually ok.

Both are the 130 series chassis and are probably the same. Not 100% certain though.Make sure the springs are installed in the right position.Drivers side is usually a little longer.Measure from bottom of rim to top of wheel arch on yours and the donor vehicle. If doner vehicle measurement is longer then compare with yours to determine if this is enough to solve the saggy a**e.
