Not as windy here in Perthshire, but its still blowing stuff about. The snow started a minute ago and its horizontal so is missing us and landing in Fife I think.

We had severe flooding last night with loads of roads closed. Its quite fun driving through the three foot floods in the surf though

Glad to say I`m not going out again today, since things look like they will just get worst out there.

            Diesel price

The price of diesel for my surf is at 74.9
That's 74.9 cents/litre and as i live in "God's Paradise" New Zealand it works out at 27.8p/litre ! Although we do have what is called a "road user" charge to pay as well......... ($250/10,000 km's)
As an ex Brit. i don't think that i could afford to run my 3.0 litre beasty back in old blighty......... the mere thought sends me all goose pimply !
            Good luck with those winds.........

I have a mate who lives up that way. I'll have to give him a bell and see how he is.

Judging by the flooding and destruction in the North East & Cumbria the Met Office were right to put out the Emergency Weather Warning. Now there's more wind and rain on the way- take care everyone.
