I have a question for you happy smiling folk with your new gauges - how much did customs extract from the wallet ?
I was informed that the Post Oriface tried delivering my gauges, but had the wrong form, unfortunately no one noted the charge

White Guages
Hi.
Speaking from experience, I would reccommend that you take a picture of your existing guages before you do any dismantling. You will probably disturb your fuel guage so a pic would be a good reference for resetting it once the new dials are in place (position dependant on amount of fuel in tank). Same goes for tacho, take a pic with engine running at tickover. With mine, I had to re-fit the tacho needle with the engine running. This was because the needle was under some tension against the "stop" when the engine was not running. All ok now though. Of course no prob if you can get the new dials in place with out having to remove the needles. HTHJJON
Normal is just a wash setting.

thats is dob the rest of us in that got away with it.
remember that Customs and Excise have a mind of their own... and can come knocking on doors when they feel like it...
So those of us that got away with it now, may get a knock in the middle of the night...

Yup arrived and was charged 20.55 for the priveledge of releasing the parcel too, apparently 'customs vat' of 7.05 and a clearance fee of 13.50. WTF? I could handle the insurance but this is a bit daft, surely? Still no matter, a big thanks to UDTrev for sorting as these gauges look sweet, fitting them this afternoon, hope the dash isn't too hard to dismantle...======
Just gotta finish doing the next mod...

Hmmmm, mine still haven't arrived yet. Did you guys receive a letter saying it's at the post office, or did you get them posted along with the extra fee letter?
I'll give it until the end of the week before I start to panic!MMMMMmmmmm 4x4

Mine were delivered to work by Parcel Force today, it should have been yesterday but they had the wrong paperwork, and yes I got stung £20.55.
